Located on Kootenay Lake, on Highway 31, in the West Kootenay region of British Columbia, the land of the best bike roads you’ll ever have the joy to ride!! 3 out of the top 5 best bike roads in British Columbia are located at our doorsteps. We are 25 miles north of Nelson (population 10,000), which is on the southern tip of the West Arm of Kootenay Lake.

Kootenay Lake is 90 miles long and has terrific fishing for Trout and Kokanee Salmon. Boats and charters are available for rent nearby. The Balfour Ferry Terminal is 5 miles South of us; this is where you catch the 45 minute Kootenay Lake ferry (world’s longest free ferry ride) to connect you with the east side of Kootenay Lake.
